Awareness
Awareness is normally defined as the state or ability to perceive, to feel, or to be conscious of events, objects or sensory patterns. In this level of consciousness, sense data can be confirmed by an observer without necessarily implying understanding. However in biological psychology, awareness is defined as a human’s or an animal’s perception and cognitive reaction to a condition or event.
We still stick to the first description when dealing with climate change, we admit we have something to do with it but dont understand up to what extent. Its not an easy task to actually achieve a cognitive reaction on someone and even more complicated to do it in a global scale. People perceive differently our environment not only because of cultural values but many other factors. Adverts vary from one country to another, but the goal is the same:
1 Be aware of your carbon footprint and
2 Do something about it.
First step is achieved, what about the second one?
