Day 1 in Shanghai
Actually we arrived yesterday, the sightseeing of Shanghai was awesome and the flash class of basic expressions in Chinese was very good too.
Today was our first day of classes at Jiaotong, we had a presentation by the director of the University and the teacher who organized everything to receive us. It was a very warm welcome.
After that Carlos Pascual, from the Trade Comission of the Embassy of Spain in Sanghai, did a presentation and he talked about the positive changes of China in the last decades and the positive changes that are yet to come.
Then we had our first class about Negotiation in China, it was great! Our teacher, Gabor Holch, gave us a lot of useful information and tips that can help us negotiating not only with Chinese people, but with people from any country. He showed with examples that even if cultures and habits are different, the core is the same, we all have needs and negotiating is about finding joint solutions that satisfy those needs.
