FIRST DAY IN SHANGHAI

After a long travel, we arrived to Shanghai yesterday.  We could see part of the city from the bus, in the way between the airport and the hotel and I realize that there is so many contrasts between the areas.

Today was the first day of classes. We had one conference given by Carlos Pascual, who works at the Spain Embassy. He spoke about the Chinese economy, which is the second economy in the world and the main source of global growth. China is growing around 10% since two decades.

After the conference, we took a class with the global MBA. The professor Gabor Holch lives in China since 2002 and work as a consultant here, in Shanghai. The lectur was about negotiation in China. He gave us a introduction into the challenges of China and how to apply sound negotiation methods to overcome them. There is so many factors we have to take care about, if we want to do business in China. The class was very interesting and now I have a better idea about what I have to be aware of.
