Greetings from Shanghai!
Hello everybody! After 13 hours flying, finally we have arrived to China.
If I have to be honest, the first impression was contradictory because these people are completely different to us. They don’t like respect traffic lights, if they cannot walk down street because is too busy they don’t doubt to push you for passing, the streets smell like food… but on the other hand, they are such a kind people. If you don’t know how to go somewhere they try to help you and young people are always trying to speak to us because they want to practise for improving their english skills.
Yesterday evening, we had our first Chinese lecture and we could learn how we can lead and bargain with Chinese people. It was very useful but we were very tired (just jetlag) and after that, we had to go bed for charging the batteries and wait for the next day.
Today morning, we got up at 8 and I had one of the strangest breakfast of my life: hot orange juice, sweety bread and tasty milk. Then, we went to Jiao Tong University and we took a lecture called ‘Negociating in China’ It was so helpful and I am sure I will use it in a near future, or I hope so.
Eventually, we visited ERA Solar but we could not see the manufacturing chain so this was a little bit disappointing.
To sum up, everything was amazing and I hope that everything will continue the same way.
