Pre-China
I personally be
lieve that prejudices are really bad, because many times they are not true. When we think anything about someone or something before of know it, it’s very difficult to change the initial opinion. Knowing it, it’s also true that prejudices are inevitable.
I am going to tell you believes or prejudices about China and Chinese people, before going there. Probably, when I came back in a few weeks, it could be changed.
When I think in China, I think in a large population split. By one way, the rural population, the traditional China, and by other way the huge cities, full of lights, traffic, skyscrapers and pollution. On the one hand, large rice fields, and on the other hand, an emerging country, second world power.
China has got an ancestral culture, with a recent released new year, dedicated to the sneak.
Chinese people in the world are characterized by being deliberate and calm, with eastern philosophy, in fact they chew food hundredfold before swallowing !
When doing business in China, I’m sure that they transfer their wisdom and calm. So I think it’s really important to go there to really learn from them and to be able to negotiate with this second world power.
