Study Trip to Shanghai
In just one week I’ll have the honor of visiting Shanghai, one the most preferred cities where the biggest multinational companies settle their production processes. Ever since I started working (Hewlett Packard or GE), almost every product I’ve interacted with was made in China and I’ve always been curious about how the production plant would be like: its size, output level and the coordination it must have to be able to produce products to so many countries.
Another aspect of this trip that excites me is that for the first time I’m going to set foot in Asia; I’m expecting a big cultural difference. Not only in how they greet each other, but also in their food habits, what they believe is important when doing business, religion, even hear them speak in Chinese will be a great experience.
I have high expectations on this study trip, which I hope to enjoy and share wonderful experiences with my classmates.
