Clase abierta IMSD. Introduction to Strategic Environmental Management

The aim of this open class is to give an introduction to a broader course on Corporate Environmental Management and Life Cycle Performance, whose aim is to teach students why and how companies can improve the environmental performance of their products, services and activities.

• Under the question of why, the course provide learning opportunities to explore the industry and market dynamics driving the greening of industry, including the opportunities and challenges for greening of products, services and production activities.
• Under the question of how, the course provide learning opportunities to study the various concepts, tools and approaches available today for companies to assess and improve the overall environmental performance of their activities and to apply these concepts and tools in practice (e.g. eco-efficiency, eco-design, life cycle performance, product-service systems).
